Picture Perfect: Kate Middleton

As the anniversary of their epic wedding approaches, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been making an increased number of public appearances and Kate continues to look every bit the style icon.

At the London premiere of African Cats she looked positively regal in Matthew Williamson

The days of brushing your hair a hundred strokes before bed are long gone - we all know that it can damage our delicate strands But, there is a time when brushing is essential - right before you wash your tresses.

Yasmin Rajwani, from For U Salon and Medspa in Toronto, says that brushing dry hair prior to washing gives you the following benefits:
  • Stimulates the scalp to helps promote hair growth
  • Loosens product build-up for cleaner hair
  • Distributes natural oils to help condition your hair
Yasmin suggests trying this method and after a month you'll be rewarded with healthier, shinier hair.

For the past couple of weeks, I've fallen off the workout bandwagon. Usually I run about three times a week and go to a couple of classes that are offered at lunch at my workplace. I know that once I finish my run, I'll get that amazing endorphin rush and be glad I did it, but finding the activation energy to get myself out the door has been lacking lately.
